By the way, I can confirm that, with Dual Core disabled, there aren't random freezes anymore in the several horus I've been playing.

same here, however the framerate in battles are so horrible that it is not worth it...
I have to update my specs, but this tuesday i changed my rig to a i5 2500k @ 3.6 Ghz and i'm getting 100% speed all time.

With DC disabled?.

Hmm I'll see if I can OC more my CPU (Quad core Q6600 2,4Ghz @ 3,2 Ghz, this is the barrier of stabillity of my CPU without raising the Vcore). I tried disabling DC and I got 30 FPS (I play with 30 FPS in lock FPS) in the map but like 18-20 in battles, no worth it.

But I'm 100 hours into the game near the end, so It really doesn't matter playing with random freezes for 10 or 20 more hours .

You can only disable DC on sandy bridge cpu which is overclocked. You would have to oc your cpu to 5 ghz to get stable fps everywhere

I don't think that the diference between a Sandy bridge and a Quad using a single core should be that significant.

The problem is that my rams sucks (Some are DDR2 333Mhz), so I can't OC my CPU over 3,2 without raising too much the Vcore and make a barbacue in my room xD.

Right, something weird's going on here.

I had finally gotten a good setup for Xenoblade going, where everything both looks good and runs smoothly, when the game crashed on me, itself not an odd occurrence, until I tried to start the game again only for Dolphin to crash instantly, before the splash screens even came on.

No matter what I try, if I use Direct3d9 the game will crash, even though Direct3d9 works flawlessly on every other game I have.

I've tried 3d10 and OpenGL, but they both suck, neither can get more than 70% speed while 3d9 did 100% speed.

This is really annoying and I'm wondering what I did to make such a weird glitch happen and what I can do to fix it.

Difference is about 30% single core perfomance. I tried 2500k at stock and it dropped a few fps in heavy battles. 2500k at about 4 ghz is required for 100% speed everywhere. Now add 30% to that and you get 5.2 ghz !
Hi Satan,

Does it crash at 'clearing code cache'?
Delete everything in your /User/ShaderCache folder. See if that helps.

No, it crashed instantly.

But clearing the folder worked, thanks!
