So i've played through about 15 hours, and while it has been running silky smooth at 4X IR, the cutscenes are rather choppy. The version of Dolphin I'm using is 3.0-766 dirty (HLE hack).

Is there another version of Dolphin that may run this game better? Again, I have an i7-3610qm and a 680M. Aside from the choppy cutscenes, my laptop is running this game at 4X IR pretty much flawlessly.
Well, not really. Maybe the official Dolphin 3.0 release...
What specific version of the official release should I try?

There is only one "version" of the official release. This is Dolphin 3.0 nothing more. Here http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html...arch=win64
3.0-XXX are "revisions". Experimental builds
I've tried with this official release, but with Xenoblade does not quite work, the emulator crashes once in a while.
I've played with numerous different versions and configurations, and what worked best in my system was the 3.0-496-dirty [Xenoblade HLE Hack].
The best IR for VGAs that have only 1024MB of memory is 2x, I am right?
I ask because I've heard rumors of people playing with similar VGAs with IR on 4x with a good rate of fps.Huh
Not really. It depends on the GPU's bandwidth. Your GPU should be able to handle 4xIR.

For Example :
Nvidia 9800GT 512MB , 57.6GB/sec memory bandwidth vs Nvidia GT 540M 1024MB , 28.8GB/sec memory badwidth
Nvidia 9800GT can handle 3x IR and 4x IR (if overclock) in most games
Nvidia GT 540M can handle 2->2.5x IR in most games due to low memory bandwidth

Yes, now I understand. I made countless tests and 4xIR without AA the game is emulated 100% or 2.5xIR with 4xSSAA too; But with 4xIR and 4xSSAA greatly decreases the fps, regarding AA 1024MB is little to IRs high AA simultaneously; I believe.
My GPU specs: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560

iam repeating the memory size of your GPU says nothing about its performance...
a 512MB gpu could overpower a 1024MB GPU by factor over 9000
i hate these 12year old shrimps

they are not getting the over 9000 jokes
