Does anyone have missing shadows when using my texture pack? Check the texture pack link for Rogue Leader, it's a more recent build (though not the major update), and see if there is a problem?

EDIT: Wow, you guys won't believe this. The shadows are affected by a texture! LOL! Talk about sneaky tricks. Basically, this means, I could make HD shadows!
Yeah most absurd death ever lol.

Really a texture? If thats true that means game can be run without EFB to Ram and be perfect with your textures.!!

Yeah, I think the shadows are in real time, except maybe they have to take into account z-freeze or something and so it's a neat trick. I've tried duplicating the file into a higher res, but I fail every time, because there is a special gradient scale associated with the texture. I think Factor 5 may have had Maya or some graphics program automatically calculate the right gradient for the right length of shadow, depth, etc. So, what I decided to do was see if Rebel Strike utilized a similar texture, and to my surprise, yes indeed, BUT, it is a better quality texture than Rogue Leader's Smile So, I have implemented Rebel Strike's version, and now the shadows look really great!

P.S. I will be uploading the texture pack (beta version) in a few hours. Wink
