ok level 7-7 is gonna whup anyone's butt if you don't have decent fps. The flames on this stage go so fast it's impossible to finish the level. Good thing for super guide.

Overclock your CPU to 3.6 GHz and use the config (screenshots) from the previous page.

DKCR should run at 55~60fps (smooth as butter)

Will I be able to get great frame rates @ 720p with:

8800GT 512MB
4GB DDR2
Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 3.2 ?

XD

These are complied version of Dolphin typically based on the current source code that have been compiled with additional optimizations for newer CPUs that support SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2 commands. You can find further details on the SSE commands and what CPUs support them via Wikipedia.
has anyone been able to fix the bloom color (especially the color red) in the beach levels?

Yep, save states don't work with this game. I reported that over on the google page. Really sucks also given the difficulty of this game. Sad Here if you want to comment: http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/iss...&start=300
Can someone answer my question please? Here's my specs again

8800GT
Phenom II X4 955
4GB DDR2
Quote:The controller will be disconected if you load a savestate

The emulated wiimote (controller) gets disconnected even during normal use (no savestates and no frameskipping)

Very annoying issue.

Buy / rent / borrow the game from a friend, and test for yourself (using the settings from the previous page).

It's very playable on that hardware, even at 1080p.
