FWIW, since people have been emailing me about this: I'm not handling translations anymore. Complain to whoever botched that transifex update.
And who whould that be...?

wait, but it's because of Transifex or something about the emulator updating its strings?
That's be Parlane that updated it.
I want to contribute to russian language.
It’s been a long time !

This isn't some random topic that there's no point in bumping, it's a stickied topic. The post was relevant too. Applying the necroposting rule here doesn't make sense.
Oops, I thought this was a different thread. My bad
Hello, people.
I just have joined Transifex and got accepted into Russian team. But I find it a little confusing. So here's a few questions:

1. I found some lines that don't have a translation, but have some suggestions, like this:
Spoiler:
What do I need to do? I know how to translate this line more appropriate, so it's ok if I write the translated text into translation field? Or should I make a new suggestion?

2. If I find a line which I don't know where it is located, how can I get this info? It may be needed for more correct translation based on context.

The suggestion you see below is for an older version of this string. In this case, the only change is that it now says "%s" instead of %s, so if you want to, you can take the text of the suggestion, add quotation marks around %s and submit it as the new translation. Making a completely new translation and ignoring the old one is also fine. The only case when you cannot submit a new translation is when the current translation is reviewed (double ✓), but there don't seem to be any such lines in the Russian translation.
