FWIW, since people have been emailing me about this: I'm not handling translations anymore. Complain to whoever botched that transifex update.

And who whould that be...?

Hello, people.
I just have joined Transifex and got accepted into Russian team. But I find it a little confusing. So here's a few questions: 1. I found some lines that don't have a translation, but have some suggestions, like this: Spoiler: 2. If I find a line which I don't know where it is located, how can I get this info? It may be needed for more correct translation based on context. (07-08-2015, 10:19 AM)BFG1992 Wrote: 1. I found some lines that don't have a translation, but have some suggestions, like this: The suggestion you see below is for an older version of this string. In this case, the only change is that it now says "%s" instead of %s, so if you want to, you can take the text of the suggestion, add quotation marks around %s and submit it as the new translation. Making a completely new translation and ignoring the old one is also fine. The only case when you cannot submit a new translation is when the current translation is reviewed (double ✓), but there don't seem to be any such lines in the Russian translation. |
