@doc101: Latest development versions generally fixes issues and get more accurate, so, they get slow as consequence of accurate emulation...

@Rigigo: in the latest development version, all sound issues should be fixed, without needing VBeam trick and similar things...

Well, continuing off of shadowdarklight's comment before about not being able to roll up into a tube in Chapter 4, I'm having the same issue trying to map my movement to my mousepad instead of the arrow keys. If it helps, I'm also using a MacBook Pro. I also included a picture of my setup. Thanks for any help you are able to give!

EDIT: Also on the picture, it's up arrow now, not up. That was me taking the picture while I was still trying to map my mousepad.

Hello everyone, I seem to be having issues running this game at its max potential? Please help me, I can max/ultra/high recent pc games just fine with an fps above 60, but for this game I get 80% speed (drops to about 75 in the middle of the first town, (I have not played more because I want to look into this issue) I have tried guides but I can't get a full speed of 100% 60 FPS% please help.
1: PC games and Emulators have different needs.
2: You're using an outdated build.
3: You didn't post your settings or anything that we could work from to assist you on.

So, just because your PC runs PC games well, doesn't mean it'll run emulated games. You're using an older version of the emulator according to your profile, so I don't know if you're getting the best performance. You didn't say what settings you were using, so I can't help you configure dolphin at all. You've basically put me in a position where I would like to help you, but I can't because of lack of information. I'll give it my best guess despite that:

D3D11 is the slower back-end, use D3D9 or OGL, and use EFB2Texture. Cache Display Lists can get a small speedboost as well. DSP-HLE works perfectly on this game, so make sure LLE isn't on. That's all I can think of without actually seeing your settings.

emulation is still not at full speed, now it is around 66% speed instead of the 80 I was getting, can you check what I should change from my screenshots?

XFB is pretty useless for this game. You can disable that.
Also if you can't reach full-speed you shouldn't set Framelimit to "Off". Set it to "Auto" preferably

sadly that doesn't seem to help, speed and fps are now lower.
If you still arent getting full speed with the suggested settings then it is likely your rig isnt fast enough. Overclock to get better speed.
