Well I have a strange problem with that game. I can't get past 10th (i think) Subspace Emissary chapter "The Lake Shore". After fight with Peach and then team Pit + Mario movie plays with King DeDeDe running with trophies and being stopped by Kirby. The characters then join to battle and Dolphin ALWAYS crash before showing character selection. It's like that, i see one frame with all characters and then crash. At first try I even get throught that moment, but game crashed on the next movie (with characters entering cave). But now it happens everytime no matter if Dual Core, Optimize Quantizers and Skip Idle are on or off. I even wondered if my ISO didn't get damaged from so much Dolphin crashes, but that wasn't that. I even downloaded ISO from the internet (only to test, it's deleted now) but still the same...
The crash is typical Windows message, not Dolphin ones.
Have you tried running Brawl through debugger? With Unlimited JIT Cache enabled?

No, but I will try that

EDIT: OK, I got throught the first one now. But this time the frame didn't show fully. Only an about 50 pixels top were the character selection, the rest was frame that was playing when skipping movie (in before questions, previously I tried playing with and without skipping movies)
Also, is there a way to turn off Wiimote emulation completely? That Wiimote out of sync message can get irritating sometimes...
This Wiimote error appears only once so don't bother about it.

OK, game went throught the second movie. I didn't know that debugger can help in something like this (maybe you should add Unlimited JIT cache option to normal Dolphin settings? Debugger runs a bit too much windows as for me ;P)
Also, about that Wiimote, it's possible that because of number of crashes I didn't notice that.

The only problems I've had with SSBB is crashing when going to menus after a game, and movies stutter, but this is an amazing beginning to next gen emulators.

this may be a sad question...but how do I save my game? Since it crashes so frequently for, I would love to figure out how to do this.
AND.
in subspace emissary, it always crashes after the first stage. Is there any way i can bypass that? Before I start playing, it asks me to choose a name, or 'begin without entering a name', but I cant seem to figure out how to create my own name...? (I tried clicking all the keys possible and nothing happens lol (i'm using a keyboard))
help plz Big Grin

ok i figured out how to get the name in the SSE...but its still not saving, and it crashes after the first match...
T____T what do I do!!
If you want to save VS. mode records, you need to exit to the menu from the character roster. The game will crash, but the records will be saved. I found that if the game crashes/hangs before you do this, your records will be lost.

In SSE, if you beat a stage, your progress will be saved on the "STAGE CLEAR" screen. Furthermore, if you'd like to stabilize SSE, you should run Dolphin in Debugger Mode (create a desktop shortcut for Dolphin, and make the Target line look like this: YourDrive:\DolphinFolder\Dolphin.exe -d), and in the Dolphin-Debugger window, tick "Unlimited JIT Cache" in the CPU Mode menu.
