Man performance in this game sure has gone up!!
Yeah, I am thinking of upgrading my computer. I custom made it back in 2010, and the components are clearly outdated (yet they perform very well in the current Battlefront Beta on Ultra settings). I guess it's performance for high-end emulation like Rebel Strike, that I want a smooth experience.
Yeah, current PC games are not so rough on the CPU, rather on the GPU. For emulators you mostly need a strong CPU.
Just noticed that the engine exhaust/lighting doesn't show up through the ships like it used to. When did that get fixed? Smile
How fast of a PC do you need to run this full speed?
Not possible on all levels yet but look at my specs to get an idea.
So no current hardware can run this game all the way through at full speed?

This would:

Intel Core i7-5960X Haswell-E Extreme Edition 3.0GHz 20MB Retail Box - NO FAN

Asus Rampage V Extreme 2011-3 USB 3.1 eATX Motherboard

2 x GeIL 16GB Kit (4x4GB) DDR4 SUPER HERO Black (Red LED) C17 3600MHz

2 x Intel S3510 Series 2.5" 1.6TB SSD DC OEM

4 x WD Black WD6001FZWX 3.5" 6TB 7200RPM Desktop HDD

2 x eVGA GeForce TitanX Superclocked 12GB GDDR5 DVI 3xDisplayPort HDMI

2 x SilverStone SOB02 Slim Blu-Ray Writer

Asus Xonar Essence STX II 7.1 PCIe Sound Card

Inwin 909 Silver Aluminium Full Tower w/ Glass Window Side

Corsair AX1500i 1500W 80PLUS Titanium Modular Power Supply

Asus PCE-AC68 802.11ac Dual-Band Wireless-AC1900 PCIe Adapter

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional OEM 64Bit

Samsung U28E850R 28" FreeSync 4K 1MS LED Gaming Monitor
Most of that is not required. You just need a very very strong CPU.
I know. Tongue So why not go all out with everything else.
