Thanks Excited to try it.
I didn't even fiddle with the settings and just started playing with the same settings I use for Umbrella Chronicles, but now I checked the first page and it happens to be the same. I don't use vbeam hack (thanks for the tip, I'll try it out!) and in DFX settings --> advanced I checked:
- disable Dest. Alpha Pass
- disable fog
- enable OpenCL
I set the framelimit to 60 but I also use audio throttle, so I don't know if it matters at all (in Fatal Frame 4 it made a huge difference even with the enabled audio throttle).
I hope the game will work for you as well!
Holy sh!t, you are awesome for letting us know that. Just tested it, so far it's working perfect. It stuttered a bit sometimes, but when i put Vbeam emulation on, working 100%!!!!!! Have not tried with Umbrella Chronicles, but DC works great.

Hi everyone!
I started playing Remake the day before on my PC (C2D 6400,Geforce 8800GTs,1GB RAM)..to my delight, after only a small amount of time of messing with configurations I got the game running running smoothly at ~30fps.Then,when I tried to enter a specific room in the mansion, the emulator crashes inexplicably (?).I run Dolphin r7274 on windows xp.
I've dedicated some hours already to this game (and I got really hooked to be honest),so any bit of help will be more than welcome!

You need to be a bit more specific with exactly what point it is crashing. Even better if you could, load up the game and make a save state file just before entering the room with the crash and upload it to a site like mediafire to share with us so we can look at exactly what is going wrong.

Edit: NO USE SAVE/LOAD STATES ok.
I installed the newest rev and everythingseems to work just fine!Thank you both for your replies!
For the record, the crash occured when I was trying to get inside the hallway where you are eventually attacked by infected dogs breaking through the window in the First floor.

I'm glad I could be of help.
Thanks for mentioning Vbeam, I also enabled it and it completely eliminated the small stutters. TIME TO PLAY!
OK as far as I understand the VBeam option helps for RE0, RE1, RE umbrella chronicles and RE Darkside Chronicles. Could someone test what is the situation with RE4 and RE Code Veronica - does it help or break the games? Eventually I'll update the main post based on this info.

Don't know if it's just me, but Vbeam makes UC stutter like crazy. Especially the cutscenes, they play at like 9 fps. Without vbeam they play perfectly.
Alright, could we please get some settings Siklara?
Because it seems like people have different experiences with VBeam emulation, for some it makes the games work perfect while for others its crap. I downloaded the revision that you told us you had used to play this game, so that i could check for any improvements in the emulation.
I have more or less the same settings on the front page, "Disable Fog" is NOT checked, and nor is "Disable Destination alpha pass". With VBeam checked, i get these results:
1. Stuttering in cut scenes
2. Cutscenes and ingame menus seems to be locked at 30 fps (where its supposed to be 50) while actual gameplay is locked at 15 pfs (notice that this is half of what i get in cutscenes, also gameplay is supposed to run at 25 fps). Audio Throttle is on, but frame limit is set to 50, and im not using fps for lmiting anyway.
Why is it that VBeam emulation works for some people, even ELIMINATING the stuttering, while for others it slows the game down and causes the stuttering???
EDIT: I should add that i am talking about RE: Darkside Chronicles here.
