With Turbo Boost, you should be able to reach 3.8GHz without overclocking, which should be more than enough to run ToS smoothly with LLE audio. Turbo Boost should happen automatically, so you wouldn't have to worry about doing anything yourself. Other games need overclocking, like DefenderX's suggestion (4.2GHz).

(ps first time on the forum LAWL)

EDIT: looks like I got the same flippin problem on all "DX alternatives", how do I "Reset All Settings To Default"
Try using DirectX9.
DirectX9 is faster than DirectX11 FYI.
DirectX11 causes some graphical glitches in this game.

Are you using Dolphin 3.0? (As indicated by your profile)

Post of screenshot of your problem regardless. I have not observed any glowing when I tried DirectX11.

More proof that the removal of "Disable Lighting" in recent Dolphin revisions was rather justified. :p

Hmm. I finally solved the music not playing properly issue by enabling DSP LLE, which caused another issue. FPS dropped significantly... MY CPU is Intel i7 920 2.67GHZ. Could this be an issue? Game ran just fine on HLE, minus the sound problem of course.

That's expected behavior with LLE audio; it's much more demanding than HLE audio and requires more CPU resources to effectively run. Dolphin is usually a dual-core app, but can use a third core with LLE on Thread enabled, make sure that's turned on for better performance. Still, this game needs a good CPU to run at decent speeds with LLE audio enabled. You'll need something at least as capable as my i5-2500K at stock clocks.

No but unless overclocking you won't get an optimal speed (if you use LLE)
