sorry for bothering you again but know when i use the ipod touch in any wii game the wiimote doesnt work how to fix

define "doesn't work"
make sure that in the plugin settings that "UDPWii enabled" is checked and what you need is checked (for example accelerometer, buttons and IR pointer if you don't need nunchuk). turn on the same settings on your device.
also make sure that you entered the correct IP (the IP of your computer, you can get it by typing ipconfig on the command prompt) and the correct port (the one under the plugin's settings)

i can't make it work either. I am also using an iPod Touch 2nd Gen and r5774 dolphin

The plugin should work as long AS YOU TYPE IN THE CORRECT IP. Also don't forget to enable UDPWii in settings.

Maby I should consider automatic discovery for the next version (although troublesome because of the need to install Bonjour)

those guys from jailbreak scene would be pleased to host it...

No, I said that I AM CONSIDERING of making a version that uses bonjour as soon as I fix my phone (thus not requiring you to type in the IP and the port). The current version works without Bonjour or iTunes. Check out the first post for instructions. BTW the Cydia thing is a great idea. Thanks

I don't think you can do anything through bluetooth. Apple's bluetooth stack doesn't allow reverse tethering using bluetooth DUN or PAN, and doing something with btStack would really be overkill...

As far as the new plugin is concerned, I was already considering it.
Now I'm working on rewriting the server side to allow automatic discovery, listening on multiple interfaces and to be more resource-friendly
As far as the client is concerned... I'll try testing in the simulator in the meantime, but...

thanks but this seems like alot work, eazier to get my vtunes running again or just wait for repo... actually i hoped it would be done by now

I'd post it to cydia, but I have no way of testing if the package works currently (next time check 10 times, then solder once )
