wow, this is really hard
Do I have to wait for post count to increase or could someone send me the patch please?
The game is running perfectly except for a few sound problems here and there. Not to often however.
Try downloading the precompiled build, that should work even if you have fewer than 10 posts.
Will do Smile

It's just that I got it working so well that I'm afraid another revision will mess it up xD
Somebody on a different forum I frequent requested this, so I applied Mylek's V3 patch to the newest git pull, and built with ICC. Figured I would post it here if people want to try it. It might get you an extra frame or two, it might not. I run with LLE so I haven't really tested it. This is an x64 build with SSE2.

Might need this dll too, if you don't have it.

umoon

Thanks for the patches
I have the crackling audio in menus, too, while cutscenes are almost always fine. I haven't yet tried the build posted here, but I'm just about to.

Note that some of the code in the patch isn't directly related to fixing the stuttering but I had it sitting around and it shouldn't hurt.

I also added a quick and dirty hack to run the backend at 44.1k. This should make 44.1k/22.05k games (like xenoblade) sound slightly better, and 48k/24k games sound slightly worse. When you set it to HLE @48k it's actually 44.1. LLE and 32k audio will have issues due to this hack.
(undo by reverting Systemtimers.cpp, Mixer.h)

And how, exactly, would one go about applying the patch to the build? I'm completely confused as to why you'd make a new build, then make a patch for it, but not combine the two.

Edit: Hmm....seems they are combined. Why do you have the patch posted as if it weren't already part of the build? It's very confusing. That said, this build seems to have solved any of my sound issues. I'm even running the 30FPS patched version of the game, and the only sound stutters that happen correct themselves very quickly without garbling the sound like used to happen. I'm using it with XAudio2 at 48, like you said. I've also got Audio Throttle turned on and Framerate limit turned Auto, Internal Resolution at 4x, AA off, AF at 16x, Per-Pixel Lighting on, Force Texture Filtering on, and OpenMP Texture Decoder on.

You've got to jimmy around with logging in and out. I had the same problem.

Can anyone apply the patch to r7676 x86? As noted earlier (http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread...88&page=15 post #150) this is the best revision for middle of the road computers. It would be much appreciated and I highly recommend this revision and the settings posted earlier to anyone with a dual core having problems.
