I assume you mean CleanRip. I have had no problems with CleanRip, but the other one you can try is SuperDump. However, that requires a cIOS to be installed which is not something I want to do.

that's right, sorry, CleanRip.
ok, good to know. i heard that the problem can be fixed if one has the wii.dat file from redump.org.
i can't seem to find it anywhere at all. do you have a copy of it that you could share? i'd really appreciate it!
thanks!
Nope, I think that site has been shut to non-members, sorry. You can probably find hashes somewhere else.

man. this is becoming a real pain. =)
so did you rip Xeno with cleanrip without the wii.dat and it was fine? if so, did you do it in parts or as one file?
thanks!
I don't own Xenoblade, so I have no idea
I always rip in one file; I formatted an 8 GB flash drive as NTFS and go from there.

haha, ok =) yeah, CleanRip did great with F-Zero GX, no problem, but i can't seem to get a good rip of Xenoblade with it. =/
*edit* well, i got the wii.dat file but it made no difference. same error. =( man, this game was the whole reason i did this dolphin thing and i can't get it to work. =(

And also, the configs.
i finally got it! =D it was a total derp on my part. Xeno is a Dual Layer disc and i was ripping it as a single layer. @_@
well, glad to have that sorted!
so, which version of dolphin should i be using here? abe's 3.0-370 or the older 3.0_71? what's the difference between the two?
thanks! excited to start playing!
*edit* got it all working with a classic controller setup for my 360 controller and everything! the game is more beautiful than i could imagine! =D
i have another question, if i may. i seem to be getting around 26FPS. is that normal? what should i expect? i have an i5-2500k @ 4ghz and a GTX 570HD. thanks!

My version (3.0-370) is more stable, I think.
Concerning the FPS... If you ripped the PAL version, constant 25 FPS is awesome. However, you can patch your image to make it play at
30 FPS -> More awesomeness!

awesome! thanks abe for taking the time to respond and for putting together this dolphin fix for Xeno! =D
