The stretching is only on the HUD thankfully and most of the time I just turn the HUD off. It's really cool to play this games in portrait mode rendered at 1080p + 60fps. Racing games REALLY benefit from portrait mode.
How come there aren't any shadows in Ghost Squad? Is the game made like this or are the shadows unemulated?

The shadows can be proper emulated.I made a mistake in patching the shadow textures.

Depends on the game. The d3d9 backend is used for most games.
