I tried both Generic Widescreen Gecko Codes. The first one didn't work and the game was still 4:3 and stretched. The second code caused a very weird bug where the game is mirrored and then stretched/zoomed when I press start in the main menu. The pictures below show the issue with the second code.

I'm also surprised the archive only has like, 150 downloads.
The PS2 widescreen archive has over 40,000.

And no one has been able to port MGS: The Twin Snakes PAL to NTSC-U?
I mean, I know you can just edit the NTSC-U .iso with a hex editor, but I'd prefer a code.

Probably because it's a waste of time when the codes are posted in the thread.

It's not a waste of time. If you download the archive, you get a quick easy database which you can sort by region and alphabetical order.
There's currently over 250 codes.

It's better than scouring through 30 pages (some codes aren't even posted in this thread), and having to find the most updated version.
