You don't have to modify your game disc. Just open Dolphin, right-click your game disc, select properties, go to AR Codes, press Add New Code, name the code and add the code lines, confirm, enable it (newly added codes should be automatically enabled) and you're ready to go.
Add as AR codes.

Hello thank you for your relpy. I have tried out the code on that page it seems to work but I noticed in the first area of master quest in links house it does not take up the full screen. also I tried the 30fps hack but that my fps remains 20 when in game.

It means that if you go to the first post there's a zip file that compiles everything so far from this thread. Find your game in that zip archive.

After searching this thread it appears that the crashing caused by the widescreen gecko code for Rogue Squadron II is still apparent. Coincidentally enough user demilich a few posts up reported this years ago. At the the very least the code should be removed from the Wiki page because of the crashing it causes.
It seems that gamemasterplc seldom visits this page and has gone off to youtube for widescreen tutorials.
If there's anyone still working on providing widescreen codes it'd be great to get a functioning one for rogues squadron ii
Is there any 21:9 code for Mario Kart Wii (NTSC) that doesn't break the bloom + minimap? (both bloom and minimap are missing if using the code from the archive)
I'm trying to get the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC) PAL Widescreen Gecko code to work, but enabling it just causes Dolphin to boot a black screen. Nothing seems to load whatsoever, not even the 50 / 60hz select screen. This is the case under OpenGL and Direct3D11, so I have no idea what might be causing it. The game loads just fine when the code is disabled, so it's not an issue with my dump or anything.
Has anyone here got this working at the moment? I noticed that the PAL code seems to be identical to the NTSC-JP one on the Wiki so not sure if maybe the wrong one has been written then? Would really appreciate if anyone could help with this!!
