you could start by annoying us less with an !-overkill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then it'll help if you can tell us what specs you have, what version of dolphin you are using and what exactly the problem is. Does dolphin crash when you select another GP or what?

Download a more recent build the one you are using is pretty old

If anyone could help me out too, because i'm still not sure wether i'm having problems or the results are to be expected. First my system
-Phenom X4 965 @3.4Ghz
-4GB DDR2 800mhz Ram
-Radeon 4850 512MB
running on Windows 7 x64 with an x64 Dolphin emulator
Running Double Dash(USA) on this system seems to run at 30fps max , and feels like about half speed (not sure). It almost seems ´capped´ for some reason, as it doesn´t matter that even if i play on wireframe settings, because the fps stays exactly the same. The only thing that helps is using the frameskipper, but that really limits the gaming experience. So i am wondering, is half speed to be expected with my system or am i missing something in the configuration. Youtube is throwing all these vids at me with the game running on full speed, but i don´t know wether to trust that they aren´t manually sped up afterwards.
if anyone can help this noob out, it is very much appreciated!

See if you have EFB Copy set to Texture in GFX settings, because it works faster
