Hi, can anyone tell me if with a e8400 at stock speed would i be able to get full speed with two players at split screen mode?

I currently have a e4600 at stock speed (2.4 ghz) and in single player grand prix i am getting 50 to 60 fps depending on the stage.

In two player split screen mode i am getting 35 to 45 fps.

Would i be able to get 50 to 60 fps with a e8400 at two player split screen?

hey guys! just downloaded this game and it works great!
i have one small issue though the game is running at 30 FPS and i would like to bump that up to maybe 40 or even 50....
what are the settings that you guys are running this with?
any suggestions?
my suggestion is you read the forum rules before posting; would have saved you from being banned any minute now Wink
So, I've just been trying out r6681 and the music keeps playing, as in, the looping works and doesn't cut out, this is with the LLE sound plugin. Was this fixed a while ago? Or did I just not play it for long enough for it to occur? Can anyone else confirm this?
it's just what you say, the LLE plugin. It doesn't have (most of) the bugs the HLE plugin has. Only it's still slower and in many games has distorted sound. However, it's heavily worked on these days and there's much progress made.

Awesome, I can't wait till a solution (be it HLE or LLE) is the perfect solution. I really enjoy following the project and gaining insight into the reverse engineering required. Since for me it is a few hours from 2011 and I am drinking Jim Beam, I would like to wish everyone Happy New Year, I probably should be out doing something but I am very comfortable on the 20th floor of my apartment watching really drunk people walk up and and down the street below in Surfers Paradise. And Im watching Star Trek and just turned 30, but ever the optimist I am totally happy. I hope everyone has an awesome new years and a great 2011!@ YAY! Tongue

With 3.0ghz you come close to fullspeed with 2player (55, 60fps)
I havew just began to play with the computer in my sig and I don't know why but I have an average 40FPS with only one player, why is that? This seem to be non-issutive or not too many problems related to the game and it's GC (most GC games run ok for me) but what's the deal? Do you need a 4GHz dual core or what? I know my 8800GT is a bit weak considering it's being eaten up to 100% GPU load and memory usage but still.
Can anyone tell me how to enable a 2nd controller. It wont recognize the 2nd one when im in game but does when im configuring it.
go to Config -> Gamecube and set "Port 2" to "Standard Controller"
