He's probably experimenting a few configs before actually playing. That's why he said he had to watch the opening cutscene for 10 times.

correct - im using the video to config my 360 controller as per this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdLoHRDK9t0

but im unable to morph ball from first person mode - cannot finish the tutorial lol
I feel the pain of watching the intro cutscene a couple dozen times. I can't find a revision that doesn't crash/stop working when you finish the tutorial and when you get the to the elevator. Having to use the 2.0 build which has lighting problems. The 'Bleach Versus Crusade' hack fixes the lighting problems in 2.0 but removes the UI as well. If anyone can find config a hack or something that will fix the lighting issue in Dolphin 2.0 I think it would make the recommended thing to do. There seems to be no difference in speed from 2.0, R6164x64_SSE41 and R6167x64_SSE41. The only difference is the new revs crash and the 2.0 release has lighting issues.
think i'll wait before playing this.. the emulator isn't up to snuff yet.
First of all, emulator IS up to game already. I play on r6147 32bit and NEVER crashed. Am also pretty far, game consist of 3 worlds/sectors and one main sector. I already explored most parts of all of them. I had some screen blackouts during gameplay but opengl plugin solved this(cutscenes still occasionally blackout for short period). Oh and its as quick as Dx plugin because this revision already had that patch that helped GL plugin being so slow for ages. MSAA is also less demanding than SSAA. For controls using x360 pad this is THE best setup: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-11796.html Using that one gameplay is just awesome, f**** wiimote and its gimmick controls. Btw on my rig game run mostly close to full speed - around 55fps(ntsc) usually. There are slowdowns when under water and few spots but thats nothing. Also, I do not recommend intel compiler builds as I experienced crashes vs standard(mamario VC++ build) in the past in certain games. Hope it help. Save states doesn't work with "new wiimote plugin", use game for save.
can someone please post the minimum processor requirements to run this full speed?
My specs :
30 FPS ingame with directx 11
60 FPS ingame with directx 9 (old rev)
i think this is the minimum processor
Edit : I just OC it up to 3.008Ghz and get 40-45 FPS ingame with directx 11(60-100 FPS inmenu, cutscene) .Temp :
40-44c when idle
61-63c when running Metroid
Pretty stable
So DX11 is slower than 9? I had hopes it would be like in PCSX2, much quicker and better...
PCSX2 directx 11 has been developed years ago,Dolphin directx 11 was only 5 month ago .....
idk how to bind the controls Sad
can some 1 tell me how?
