So .. I should use the r6189 build instead of the latest version available on THIS site?

Hello! New member here. First of all I would like to say thanks and that I am very grateful for all the hard working people who helped on this project!
Now, I have the following specs:
Intel core 2 duo E7500 2.9gh
4GB DDR2
Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-x overclock edition 1gb
Win XP 32b SP3 (so 3GB)
Seasonic S12 II Bronze 520W

I was wondering if it's possible for me to play my Melee at full speed, and what is the preffered build for running it. Thanks in advance =)
your pc is pretty good, so you should be able to play Melee at full speed with any build.
Alright, so now that I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit set up on my other hard drive, SSBM runs at 59FPS without any problems. The only time it ever averages about 45FPS is when all 4 players are playing. If there's 3, the game averages at about 53 to 55FPS.

Edit: This is on revision 6266 64-bit.
The game runs perfect for me, but a little slow on some stages, not enough to break the game, but still annoying none the less. I'll try fiddling around with some of the options.

Hi,

I have a laptop with Windows Vista x64
ATI Radeon HD 2600
Intel Core 2 Duo T-6400 @2.00 GHz
4 gigs of RAM

I get pretty much 60 fps when I play single player 1v1 but 2v2 and multiplayer slow all the way down to 25 fps. I haven't changed any of the default settings and I'm new to Dolphin. Can anybody suggest ways (plugins, speed hacks, settings) to speed this up or is my processor/GPU too slow or weak? Thanks a lot.

Hoping someone might be able to help me with some stuttering issues I've been having.

Regardless of my settings or build, I'm having frequent stuttering of two varieties.

The first occurs the first time in a match when a special effect or article is loaded -- the most noticeable example is the first time Mario uses Fireball and the game halts for 20ish frames.

The much more common issue occurs every 10 seconds or so and is a general choppiness as if the game is dropping frames, regardless of whether or not Idle Skipping is enabled. The FPS shows a constant '60,' showing 59 occasionally, and the FPS still displays 60 during the stuttering period. Also during this stuttering it will drop inputs.

Specs:

Windows 7 x64
Phenom 966 at stock 3.6ghz
"SuperClocked" 460 GTX 1gb
8 gb 1600 mhz ram

Melee .iso running from a ram disk.

Thanks for the help, guys.

Cheers!
