Enable vbeam emulation in game settings for a big speed boost
I run these games full speed almost all the time with my lap g73jh - i7 920xm @ 3.2ghz

i emulated prime 1 and 2 @ fullspeed with no problems at all.

But mp3 just refuses to work.

i7 2600k @ 3.4

w7 X64.

Dolphin 3.0 x64
(i tried the new revisions but the internal resolution option is broken for mp3)

Thanks in advance!

(05-25-2012, 01:11 PM)Absyion Wrote: [ -> ]I had problems with my MP3 too (when MP1 and 2 were running at full speed at 4x resolution, MP3 would lag [not much, but still] with 1x resolution).

Now it runs perfectly, either because of the new Dolphin build (props either way) or because of the fact that I use DSP LLE recompiler. Or something else haha.

My CPU: i7-2600k @ 3,4GHz, not OC'd.

Might as well post my config to help people, and as a reminder to myself. XD

Hey guys.
So the game is running much better now,

I am OC'ed to 3.8ghz and just got myself some nice SSD's in raid 0 Sata 2 the drivers have read/writes over 500MB/S

I am just wondering, What settings you guys are using, i am averaging only 45fps.

In small rooms its easy 60 but large areas somtimes as low as 24fps, the game really gets laggy at this frame rate.

I haven't changed ANY settings since a few pages ago so can any one sujest anything for a performance boost please?

Thanks

Craig
1st - Overclock your CPU even more, to 4.0 Ghz or more.
2nd - Pls post your Dolphin settings (as screenshots if possible)
3rd - You could try ICC optimized Dolphin Builds, they CAN give you a little FPS boost. (Just click on the link in my signature and you can test my ICC builds)
Current settings below

I cannot overclock any more, my computer just becomes way to unstable(cannot even boot)

Your settings are correct.
Anyway overclocking is the best choice for this game
Okay.

Uncheck:
* MMU Speed Hack (not needed)
* Speed up Disc Tranfer Rate (not needed)
* Disable Fog (cause graphical glitches)
* Skip EFB Access from CPU (can cause problems)

Check:
* Scaled EFB Copy

Well, the rest is okay. And LordVador and I said it: Overclocking is the best option to speed up this game.

@craigrobbo you should keep this
Really? Can you explain why? I can play MP3: Corruption perfectly without these two settings.
