Just goes to show the difference a good cpu can make to this emulator!

Thanks for the replies and efforts though, much appreciated  Smile

Well, well! Welcome to the powerhouse league of CPU! =) The 4790K has been excellent to me so far and hasn't skipped a beat. I'm sure you'll love it even more when you start playing newer games that utilize all of the cores!

Glad I could be of some help! The goal is to play our favorite (older) games and have fun doing so! If there's anything else I can help with feel free to shoot a PM.
Hi there,

Im having problems to fix the clipping with the Widescreen Hack. My steps:

- Activate Cheats for GC
- Use and activate the Gecko Code
- Activate Widescreen Hack on Graphics Options with 16:9

Any idea where's my error?

I did it on my third step Undecided

Yes, and that you did that is an error. When you're using a 16:9 Gecko code or Action Replay code, don't enable the built-in widescreen hack.

Hi there,

I have the same issue as aboreal, only I do actually have the Dolphin widescreen hack disabled with the Gecko widescreen code enabled. I have Virtual XFB enabled and EFB Copies to Texture Only disabled, and it does this with any backend or resolution. The game does display in widescreen, but the terrain is missing. The terrain shows as normal when the code is disabled.

I'm having the same problem with terrain not loading with the Gecko code. Is there no solution?
Try either of these instead for NTSC-U.

Thanks. Did you modify the FOV besides besides the initial widescreen FOV or am I imagining that?

Well I didn't make the codes, I just got them from the Widescreen Archive zip file. But I don't think there's any change to the FOV aside from the extra bits you see on the sides from it being in 16:9.
