but... you cant swing your sword when using the mouse.. it doesnt work. so its impossible to play through the game without using you sword...
I have found a fix for the aiming issue. Might be stupid and/or someone already came up with it but I'll tell: In the ingame options menu, turn the pointer off. This way, when you are aiming, you can't use the wiimote anymore, you'll have to aim with the arrow keys, just like in the gc version(except for the viewpoint, because that stays over-shoulder, while in the gc version, that was first person for the aiming). Of course, this way you lose the fun of aiming with the wii remote but at least you can aim accurately.

Oh, and could someone tell me, how can I use the sword, without playing with a real wiimote, because with the mouse, swinging is not working.
Try shaking the Wiimote (S), but I'm not sure if it would work.

on the gamefaqs link I gave you, there is a "Cave of Ordeals Walkthrough (WII)".
Scroll down to the Floor 39 description and you'll find what you're searching for !
(I've never played ZTP so I've read the all thing with the clues you gave us)...

Code:
Cave of Ordeals Floor 39 (CoO39)

Enemies: Iron Knightsx2 (Dark Nuts)

Strategy:
Take the iron knights on one at a time.
You can use bomb arrows to blow off the armor.
Hidden skills are extremely useful especially "Back Slice" &
"Helm Splitter".
After you have gotten rid of all the armor and you see the red chain mail,
The Easiest way to defeat it is to use the hidden skill "Jump Strike" and
Hack away.

Warning(s): N/A

Note: The knights are indeed skilled and will block most normal attacks.
Attack it after he has made an attack.
You may want to use your Magic Armor.

Well sorry if I was being a bit rude, but perhaps you should have a bit more respect. I don't really think you understand or know exactly who I am, and I'd advise you to not use that tone with me unless you are privy to making yourself look like an ass.

I've read most of the Faqs, I am well aware of GameFaqs and all the faqs contained on Gamefaqs. I'm not oblivious you know, and I most definitely am not a n00b contrary to what you are trying to imply. I have known of Gamefaqs for ages, and have spent a lot of time over there reading countless guides for games.

The guides are quite long to go through, so I figured it would be a bit easier to ask in this thread to receive a quicker response since I was pressed for time. Also these enemies are extremely difficult to take on, and they are usually paired together when there is more than one.

Why the hell make a thread about the game if no one is going to try to answer questions, and just link to faqs? You call me lazy, yet you are the one who conveniently decided to link to Gamefaqs and avoided my question entirely.

I wasn't asking for a Gamfaqs explanation, I was asking for an explanation and techniques that were used by people who played the game. It's hard to get a varying list of different techniques that different people use on Gamefaqs, because explanations on Gamefaqs are straightforward, and not explained from multiple viewpoints of different people who have played the game.

The point is, I want to find out what everyone usually does, not what Gamefaqs is explaining for you to do. I also tried bomb arrows and they had no effect on the armor, I've been trying the back slice but it usually takes a lot of health from you by the time you kill just one of these things. This is why I wanted to see what everyone else usually does, and how they avoid losing health or being struck by these guys.

It's much harder once you reach the rooms with the two dragons plus one of these enemies, even more harder once you reach the room with three of these enemies trying to hit you all at once.
ok once again : not everyone on earth knows about gamefaqs and as i said after your insulting post, i've never played ztp. I thought that it would help.

Um... Are you godfather? Because according to your reply you should be Him.
Seriously, just read yourself... You're arrogant, you don't admit your own faults, you're "rude" as you said but you show more rudeness afterwards.
It doesn't matter to me who the fuck you are !
I have a son, he's 3 years old and he's not as irrespectful as you are -but it surely doesn't matter to you too and you're right.
Now begone, you've pissed me off.

how do u clain not being a nOOb if u need gamefaqs to play games?

so... what are u goin to do if a use "this tone" with u? and how can u possible know what tone ppl are using with u through something thats writen and not said?

Sry, if u need gamefaqs, ur definetely a nOOb or have some mental lazyness, coz most games these days speacialy nintendo games are made with kids in mind and are simple and easy, zelda TP is dumb easy, u just gota think a little, not much.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, to the game status:
what happens here is a nintendo weirdness, "why?" u ask.
simple, zelda TP for wii is a mirrored version of the GC, and more than that, its a port from GC as the game started to be developed first for the GC but nintendo didnt finished it on time, and dolphin can read the game without it being mirrored, u just gota turn off ztp bloom hack but then left and right will be inverted, but that way u can turn off XFB copy(even tho water effects gonna be missing) and the game will get fast fps, but if u wanna play it mirroed in order to have controllers to work correctly u gota turn ztp bloom hack on and then this mirroring is done through XFB copy and that for WII emulation means 10 fps loss(this happens and my processor is not even being fully used, thats what weird about this xfb copy thing, make it slower but don try to use more resources), the XFB is rendering entire screen wich for dolphin means that the GFX will look like crap, the XFB on real WII is a peace of ubber fast memory and thats something real hard to emulate, Dolphin devs are really clever to even archieve that on this emu =P(i may be wrong, corret me if so).

also i thinks theres implementations done to the emu to make the GC's ZTP work correctly and thats why the aiming here got messed, u see that in GC version the arrow and slinghshot is on first person and on WII version its over shoulder and if u notice the slingshot miss coz the stone goes where link is looking at and not were ur aiming at, like it is the first person view, to fix that we would proly need a hack, that detects if it is the ZTP aiming system and put the aim icon a where the stones goes or fix the perspective, coz i rly think that Dolphin may be behaving like its the GC version, maybe not. i sugest for full speed also some hack to invert the axis so we can play without the ZTP bloom hack, that would also fix the NTSC version that i heard on some other post that it is inverted no matter what.

see ya.
hi guys!

thanks alot hakunushi for the explanation on how it came to the aim problem with ZTP... that definetly makes sense...
So I hope the devs can get a hack/fix for the issue.. cause I have tried almost everything to get past that second orc on the bridge with the bow and arrow...
haha i totaly figured out the problem.

sry on my last post i used xfb, and i meant efb =P

see the screenshots bellow

as u can observe, on the place were the black stripes commonly used for cutscenes should be, theres chunks of the umirrored image wich isnt being passed by the efb copy, and the aim icon is right for the unmirrored version, so the aim is proly not being copied by the efb, its being normaly rendered, wich is bad for our mirrored image there.

still turning off the ztp bloom hack and the efb copy, ull get the aim inverted and so the controller left and right.

still... the stone on the mirrored image is going just like u were using first person view as u can see on the images.

i wonder if im right and if its worth of devs attention on they beloved spare time they spend on dolphin.

see ya
