GUKingOfHeart

Does anyone have a good tutorial to get the multiplayer working. I tried and failed.

GUKingOfHeart

Ok, I changed my VBA version and got it to work a bit.
I got it to the playing point, as long as there's no lag so it doesn't disconnect on me.
When can I save in this game? I'm tired of hearing the stupid intro over and over!

How do I set up the controls? Do I set it up for GBA or GC? So far I got it all linked to my keyboard. Sad
During the two player option I want one of the players to use a controller.

I tried using save states but anytime I try to load it, the thing disconnects on me. Sad
The newer revision is making this game run very slow, both game play and audio.
Also, is not possible to complete the stage Village of the Blue Maiden cause you need to go in a portal created by the Moon Pearl and the emulator crashes when you go in a portal.
Soooo, has everyone just given up on this game? It seems as though, according to the wiki, that it has actually gotten WORSE, not better (in fact, maybe I've just gone crazy, that Dolphin's gamecube game compatibility has gone down alot, I thought I remember virtually 95% of tested games to have a 5 star rating, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.) Seeing as how the last post is several months old, I hope the Dolphin dev guys don't see this game as a waste of time to fix bugs for, cause

A. It's a Zelda game
B. It's damn fun

I totally agree, I'm trying it with a 3.0 revision, and am having problems that people were saying were "solved" with the 2.0... if gamecube compatability is going down, then that totally lowers my opinion of dolphin in general

Which ones? The game works fine with Dolphin 3.0

I'm testing this game right now so I can add info to the wiki. As far as I can tell, it's running as it should. Haven't tried the GBA connectivity, but Dolphin is improving. The only outstanding issue I've come up against were the Z-Order/Transparency problems with the trees. Everything else has been running smoothly, no crashes or other graphical glitches.

the switch pulling problem, where it won't register as a continuous press, and game speed in general
Well that and it also says something about the game freezes when you go through a moon gate. Also, apparently LOZ Twilight Princess has slowdown it did not have in Hyrule Field before and the GBA connectivity with Wind Waker does not any longer seem to work...

Please, this emulator seems SO awesome! I've been itching for months to finally test it out and retire my Gamecube for good. Lets not destroy it...
oh, and also, the sound will sometimes freeze and stay on one sound for the rest of the time I'm playing until I reset the emulator
