X-Men Legends II HD

During my last playthrough of X-Men Legends II, I decided to play around with upscaling the textures.  The results are pretty nice and have been cleaned up considerably, so it's finally time to release the pack publicly.  The pack is a 4x DDS upscale with tons of manual edits and fixes for the UI textures.

Please note that the pack does not modify the controller buttons.  The Xbox One buttons you see in the comparison screenshots were created by Phazon UI.  Phazon can be used to create button prompts for pretty much any controller & keyboard/mouse bindings you can think up.  It currently supports X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse and about 30 other Gamecube & Wii games.

Found some time to clean up some of the environmental textures with text in them, so v1.1 is up with minor improvements to a few dozen textures + a menu splash. You can see a quick comparison below



This comparison also includes the one remaining texture I'm not particularly happy with: the tiles (there's actually a few of those tile textures, but that's neither here nor there). I'm currently in the process of playing with a few different ways to clean up that texture to improve it. It's the only upscaled level texture that I've found with the potential for significant improvement. Hopefully I'll have something better for the tiles soon.

v1.2 is now up. Most textures had another post-processing pass to clean them up where appropriate. 20 textures with text have been redrawn. 2 tile textures have been replaced. New textures are located in their own folder for easy removal, if desired. Gamecube buttons have also been replaced by a cleaner set

Thanks.  Unfortunately, upscaling isn't a perfect science.  I looked through the textures a few times to try to clean up the major problem textures, but if there's anything else you come across that's especially gross you can let me know and I'll look into it.
