Short version - No, no it wouldn't

I'm only using an i5-2500k @ 3.6ghz but with a 6790 and I can run it fine. the balcony runs at 57-60 fps and a stable 60fps in everywhere else. I'm not at home right now so I can't tell you what are my current setting or build I'm using(yet). hope that helps. 03-17-2012, 05:28 AM

We just need more efficient and bug-free code here. Because sometimes the game dramatically slows down for no reason at all and then dolphin crashes as stated above.
Good, I didn't have to make a new thread or create a new one!
Anyway, has the sound issue been fixed in newer versions of Dolphin, or do we still need to play with LLE enabled? I didn't see any kind of notable improvement on the Wiki page, and my current Dolphin version is labeled 3.0 - 365 "dirty". Not sure why the Dirty part. I wouldn't update it if I'm not getting any real improvement =p So, any leads? I'm using the latest release from yesterday (I compiled myself) and I'm getting stuttering in certain areas where the FPS seems to drop to very low but then go back to full speed.
It also seems like using my real Wiimote causes much, much more lag than my 360 controller. Here's my system: i5-2500k @ 4.0 GHz 2x nVidia GTX-480 SLI 8 GB RAM Win7 x64 I'm using all default settings in Dolphin except I set the resolution to 1080p and internal resolution to "Window Resolution" (ie. 1080p). Should my system be able to play this game at 1080p with 60 fps? 04-03-2012, 12:44 AM
Overclock your CPU to 4.4GHz and check "DSP LLE on thread" when using DSP LLE.
btw: You can help us, if you post your full settings 04-03-2012, 03:23 PM

Momentary drops in FPS can be expected because the emulator has to generate and cache data into your PC's RAM. Once it is in cache, the stuttering should be minimal. I have a similar machine as yours and I was getting 48 to 60 fps depending on the area of the game. Playable enough for me considering it's an emulator. |
