A few years ago I tried playing the game on Dolphin and it ran fine on my machine but I couldn't progress after a certain point. The thing is that I hate the wiimote with a passion so I played with the emulated wiimote but I just couldn't do the moves to shake off monsters. I've read that there was significant progress in emulating motion controls since then so does that mean that SM is fully playable now without the wiimote / nunchuk stuff?

Just tried this one out on the latest build. I noticed a couple issues.
1. There seems to be a pretty faint white "flicker" at the top and bottom of the screen 2. When taking a picture using the camera phone there is sometimes a bit of graphical corruption during the process. Anyone else see this? I'm using DX11, but at least the flicker happens on OGL as well. 09-15-2021, 05:06 PM

I once had terrible slow down in this game for years, but today I tried use a "portable.txt" to make every settings restored to default and this game runs smoothly in 60fps with no problem.
maybe this could be considered as a solution to the preformance issue that many ppl ran into while emulating Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and didn't found a clue about settings? Cuz with the exact setting I got a huge improvement in the framerate. 02-21-2023, 12:09 PM
Does anyone know how to get rid of these artifacts you see at the top? I tried DX12, DX11, OGL & Vulkan to no avail
![]() ![]() And yes, I did disable 'Store EFB Copies to Texture Only'. 02-22-2023, 06:49 PM
