The board doesn't shut off directly, its most likely - since i don't own this hardware I'm just thinking out loud - that it only appears to shut off. And that is because if the board is in any slot different than no.1, pressing the OK button is going try to enable a LED corresponding to its slot number. For obvious reasons it is impossible to enable a different LED than just LED no.1, since the device only has one LED (I dont think all LEDs no.1-4 get mapped to just LED no.1). The question now remains, is it possible to make the WBB work by just changing to the proper LED or is the issue way less obvious.
I did some small changes, u might try this wiimote_plugin.dll (x64). It should push the balance board into position 4 and at the same time set the led to 1 instead of 4.
Good luck and happy reporting backTongue

http://archiv.to/GET/FILE4BFDD2B8DE5D7 plugin_wiimote.dll with balanceboard fix
just simply replace the old dll with this one, use for instance revision 5476 etc..

could connect?
tell us your experience, I'm also interested in this (even though I don't have a balance board, yet) Smile
"...Pressing the balance board button cause this to go away..."

Hey, that means that at least Dolphin does recognize commands from the balance board...I guess that's a good thing ^^
good work, though.
Now we might have to wait for schez but I think he's still deep into Motion+ emulation right now ^^
ok guys from what ive read you try to connect as a wiimote and hope it works
i think it will not work when u manage to put it in slot4

the balance board is no wiimote, it got different signals comming
im not sure if dolphin already knows what a balance board is and knows how to manage the signals comming

well maybe im completely wrong and the "core" of the wii-mulator already has the balance board included
but my thinking is that the wiimote support for dolphin had to be coded, thats why u use a wiimote plugin,
we need a balance board plugin since its no accecoire for wiimote and connects directly to wii.

however, the balance board is great, ill get mine soon and the devs should too, ebay to go...
because dolphin is not the only use for the balance board, windows is too...

i didnt do much research for now, but check out these guys, they are surfing google earth with the board and even play windows games...

Any news on this thread ? I'd like to buy a Balance board...
yeah, this would interest me, too...unfortunately I haven't heard anything...my hopes lay on schez, however, he recently said he'd leave the scene for some time due to health issues...hope, he's alright :-|
