hello, i'm having issues keeping games at a stable 60fps on dolphin 5.0. crash bandicoot: wrath of cortex for example stays around 60 fps mostly but then drops down to 30 then jumps back and forth etc... changing speeds from 100 to unlimited skyrockets my fps to 300 but unable to get it to 60 (vsync doesn't work and when i force it through video card same issue presist) is their anyway to maintain 60?

running a i5 6600k (OC to 4.5ghz) and gtx 760
Why do you want 60 fps? If the game renders at 30 fps on the real hardware, you'll get 200% gamespeed in this way....

so the game is suppose to flicker between 30 and 60 fps on 100% gamespeed then?
No idea about this game, but many games do. Do you get heavy slowdowns and continues audio crackling? If not, you're running fullspeed. And your computer is very likely fast enough, by far.
NTSC : 30 or 60FPS
PAL : 25 or 50FPS
As long as you have "100% speed" showed in Dolphin toolbar , it is full speed and that is how it work on the real console (Wii is weak Tongue)
The Last Story Wii is a perfect example for this . The Last Story is too demanding for the Wii and can't be run full speed all the time on the real Wii . That's why the game dev have to cut down here and there .

playing crash bandicoot and vexx, both games run at 100% all the times but the continues slowdown when it drops from 60 to 30 and from 30 to 60 makes the game difficult to play. is their no way to make it locked at either 30 or 60 framerate? both games are gamecube
oh, is there really an ingame slowdown? Try the CPU-clock override option, maybe this helps to fix the ingame issue Wink

With CPU-clock override enabled it makes the music static and makes the emulation speed drop into the 80% with dips into the 60% in both games. performance drops overall with this option enabled.

These is 60FPS hack . All you need is AR code of that game (action replay codes) . For Example :
https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-so...ps-ar-code
How to use AR code :
_Right-click the game -> Properties
_On AR code tab -> Add AR code
How to find AR code for each game :
_Google "enter the game title here" + action replay code

Tried this, in both games (vexx, crash bandicoot TWOC) is goes up to 60 but then immidiatly goes back to 30 and starts going between the 2 again (using the lowest possible setting for dolphin) then followed by a FIFO is overflown by GatherPipe, CPU thread is too fast! error.
