So I've made this Action Replay code that allows the game to run at a constant 60FPS:

Code:
008F2D97 00000001
0090DB0B 00000001

You'll need to ramp up the emulated CPU clock a good bit so that you won't go below 60 in-game. You'll also need to check "Store EFB Copies To Texture Only."
This code works for all versions of the game.

Awesome! It now feels like Sonic Generations regarding smoothness. My brother played Colours some time ago, but being a 30fps game, I didn't want to play it. Now I'll do it  Big Grin (ouch, but I didn't finish Generations yet).

Sick. I'd love to record Sonic Colors (NTSC version is the one I own) at 60 FPS!

The PAL version and the NTSC version are 1:1. So the code works as is for the NTSC version too. Smile

It works great!

I'm suffering from a lot of crashes while using this code... not sure if I did something wrong or what.

I've shortened the code by 2 lines (I was hesitant on removing the last 2 lines in case they were important - turns out they weren't.)
Do you experience any difference with the shorter one in terms of stability?

It's so smooth, especially on Starlight Carnival Act 1. I have created a video on it. Sorry for the TAS style inputs at some points of the video, my computer can't really handle this hack that well so I run the game at 25% speed and then speed it up when putting it up on YouTube.
