Hello,

I'm having a couple of issues with Dolphin.

The first one is I'm trying to run an emulated version of the game Star Wars:
The Clone Wars for Gamecube on Dolphin. When I attempt to run it I get the
error saying that, "BackPatch: Currently only supporting reads. Attempted
to write to 82040f68." and when press ok it then says, "Backpatch
write - not through EAX" I think I found the issue here but I'm not sure.

The second issue I have is when applying Gecko cheats to Wii games like Zelda:
The Twilight Princcess and Super Mario Galaxy. The game gets stuck at a black
screen after showing the Wiimote warning thingy.

I also had a completely separate question. When I go to retrieve Gecko codes
where is Dolphin retrieving them from? Is there a link I can go to to see what
other games the server has Gecko codes for?

Thanks.
"Star Wars: The Clone Wars" has never worked with Dolphin, there isn't anything that you can do about that currently.

The game boots so the banner is displayed. But the game is broken and can't be played ( http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-gc-...clone-wars ). Unfortunately
Also, a backpatch error usually means a bad dump, at least in my case with Sonic Mega Collection Wink
Ok so what about my other issues and questions?

2- Cheats may or may not work.

3- Go on the official site http://geckocodes.org/

Hmm I did some experimenting and found out it's only some cheats that make the game not boot. Although then I wonder why the heck those were created.

Why wasn't it ever fixed? Is it still being worked on?

The developers aren't required to do all the things that people would like them to do. Maybe one day someone will feel like spending the time to find out why the game isn't booting, until then, the game is broken.

Well that's a shame and very ironic considering one of the main reasons why dolphin was created was created in the first place.
