I wanted to run a few Wii games on my computer and was wondering if I could run them at a steady, decent FPS with my old build. Just a note, I don't plan on OC'ing as my CPU is loud enough as it is as I screwed up the thermal paste.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 3.2 GHz
RAM: 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Kingston
GPU: Nvidia GTX 460 768 MB
Mobo: 870A-G54 (MS-7599)
HDD:Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 ST380013AS 80GB 7200 RPM 8MB
Western Digital 160GB WD1600AAJS-00D1A0

(CPU is literally at 40C on idle..)

I plan on running Xenoblade, Skyward Sword, and Monster Hunters Tri (possibly Metroid Prime Trilogy as well)
Xenoblade: Now way, you have to overlock
Metroid Prime Trilogy: The same
MH Tri: Should be playable
Skyward Sword: A little overlock is recommended.

Won't run any of them all that well...
They'll be playable, but don't expect full speed.

I'd use that build for PCSX2. as it supports 3 cores.

Dolphin too if LLE on thread is checked Wink
So if I use LLE, would the game run at a stable FPS or would I still have to overclock?

It'd be better in some games, and worse in others.
LLE is too demanding for your CPU in most games.

I just wanted to mention, that Dolphin also supports three cores Wink
Looks like I might have to get a Hyper 212 EVO and then OC then :/

Or I could get the Noctua and spend huge amounts of money on a CPU cooler that barely fits in my case Wink
