Zelda: Collector's Edition HD Texture Pack V2.1 (2018-03-27)

I am a bit confused about the different packs. The DDS pack says 4:3 but I'd rather play in 16:9 if possible so what should I do? Use the DDS pack plus optional 16:9 pack?
What settings do I need in order to get the zelda collection to run in 16:9? Most of the games I play have small black borders on the sides. I don't like to stretch the screen if it's going to mess with the aspect ratio unless the textures are made to be used that way. Does Dolphin master also support DDS packs and if so what version did it start supporting that format? 10-17-2015, 01:18 AM

The 3Dmigoto aspect ratio mod needs new shaders since the last two Ishiiruka updates, anyway, so just using the main DDS pack and the 16:9 optional textures is recommended now. Doing those steps, the 3D geometry will have the correct aspect ratio in 16:9, and many HUD and menu textures will also be correct. But some of them will be stretched. Nothing too annoying. Use the latest official or the latest Ishiiruka builds if you can.

Thank you for your great work masterotaku !
I got it all working and the game looks great. I don't think it's quite on the same level as Skyrim as a poster mentioned previously but this will be my first play though of OoT so glad to have the updated textures. Game play is pretty good and no stuttering or anything as I had in Super Paper Mario but I think that's because those textures use PNG. Using Ishiiruka 420 at the moment. 10-28-2015, 04:40 PM
Hi, i cant get the textures to work, im using Zelda collector´s Edition, im putting the textures in the folder Load/Textures/PZLE01 , i have tried putting the folder THE LEGEND OF ZELDA and just the contents inside of it, but neither works. When i start the emulation it says custom textures loaded, 0.0 MB in 0.0 s. Ive tried loading my state, then turning off an on in graphic options Load custom textures but it crashes with an Ivalid read error. I dont know what im i doing wrong, i have been able to load textures for other games like silent hill shattered memories. Any guidance will be appreciated. Also i applied the 60fps patch but its like the game is in slow motion, ive never played this game and im really looking foward to play it. Thanks.

But lately the Ishiiruka builds are having problems with custom textures and with some games. Try the latest official development Dolphin build. Thanks. The 60fps and 30fps patches aren't recommended if you want to play the game "for real", anyway, because they cause bugs that break the game. With the fps patch, you need to use the overclocking feature in Dolphin. I recommend a 300% overclock for 60fps, and not as much for 30fps. Also, the game will be 3x as demanding on your hardware (effects like SSAO and super high resolutions will be a lot more demanding now). Without the fps patches, a 200% overclock is also good, because there are some slowdowns in some areas otherwise.

@ masterotaku: Great work here!
Is it still not possible to play at 60 or at least 30 FPS without breaking the game? Even with jump fix? Actually, I just tried with 60 and the game is too fast with that. Is that one of the known issues or do I have to change some setting then? The smoothness of the camera movements is divine, though!
