@StripTheSoul Try http://dl.dolphin-emu.org/wips/degasus-d...91+-x64.7z if you want. It always use the safe hash for custom textures but still the configured one for internal hashing. Is there a performance difference?

Hmm, I'm having some confusing results. Unfortunately, I lost the Xenoblade Chronicles pack some time ago when I reinstalled Windows and if can be helped, I'd rather not download and unpack that giant right now
Tested with some other games instead. SMG actually showed the costum textures, even with Tex cache set to FAST (even though the textures in that pack were dumped in SAFE), so that's cool. It felt kinda slow to me but using another master build, it didn't seem to have much of a difference, even without costum textures (I normally used Ishiiruka to play that game). With OpenGL, however, using costum textures made the game go down to 2 FPS when getting ingame O_o A strange result is the little Sonic Colors pack, which didn't show any costum textures with this build... https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-wi...-on-github EDIT: And it seems not all costum textures get loaded. At least I noticed this in Bighead's NSMBW pack. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-hd...o-bros-wii Already on the title screen, you can see how fonts are in high res but the 2-button is not (it should be, though). PS: Hm, I guess this is getting kinda off-topic, but this thread (again, almost a 100 pages old) might want to have a baby to celebrate when the new pack is ready, anyway, eh?

So I added the Option texture for the Gems but they do not show up. I notice that some things stick while others I dont think are working.

I'll get right on that, frozen. I just got out of work, but man, knowing paletted textures may be gone forever is enough energy to make me feel like I just woke up!
Is this one OK? I rarely get shadows right on my first try . I also seem to have "misplaced" my old font psds, so the font may be different for this image. Edit: Today is a great day to be a Xenoblade Fan! There's a new trailer for Xenoblade X. Look at those environments. It looks so good!! 01-15-2015, 12:05 PM

@Echoes: Looks great. Just tried it out and it's perfect.
That trailer has me so pumped up. Those environments and enemies look AMAZING. I hope we get to fight all of those giant monsters I saw, especially that huge worm thing that launched itself across the screen. I'm going to have to buy a WiiU soon here with all of these great games coming out. @Bighead: make sure you add that texture Echoes just made to the text folder of that pack I sent you and delete the dumped texture out of the ~NOTDONE folder. @Everyone else interested in whats going on: I finished with my pass of the dumps. There are probably a few missing, but mostly just buff/debuff icon textures that will be difficult to dump without just playing through the entire game to encounter enemies that use abilities that result in said debuffs. Some of the "fake" paletted textures (textures that are technically paletted but only have one instance as opposed to hundreds) are affected by the tlut change and some aren't. It's going to take a bit of work to get some of the more obscure textures, and I'm leery of dumping a ton of hours into grabbing those 20-30 textures when the change is not yet implemented in master and subject to change. Basically I don't want to spend 60-100 hours looking for those textures that may end up with different IDs by the time degasus finishes with what he wants to / needs to do. Now I'm just waiting for Bighead to get back with me when he's out of work and see what the plan is with getting this test pack out.
Nice, glad it works fine.
By the way, I'm still working on those armor icons. After I'm done, I'll upload them but after that I'll probably touch up my older ones and the ones Bighead made just for the sake of having everything look consistent. And yes, my hype for Xenoblade X just went through the roof. It looks just as I always imagined/hoped it would. Could use some anti aliasing though, but hey, what console game doesn't?
Heeello Everyone.. Uuuh I just installed the whole texture pack and it works just fine ! The only thing is... The Monado FX and such aren't.. Showing much. However I have.. Like.. an Idea that they are installed but aren't showing ?
However First of, I wanna say I am -still- at the beginning of the game, Of my first playthrough. Sooooooo... I don,t know if its gonna be red For a while and such. Anyways.. I have the Wii FX for everything Beside the.. Monado III. I put the Orange/Gold one. Sooo for the Idea That its installed and not showing. At one point, Spoiler: Sooooo yes.. Im actually quite happy I was able to do everything else Right and have the texture working. First time I did something like this ! Thanks to Cryaotic For streaming it, and saying he and an HD retexture with it, otherwise I wouldn't be here and trying to really feel it. (Hehe... hehehe.. Sorry if thats been overused.) Anyways~ Thank you guys for putting so much work into this ! This looks awesome ! (Edit: Fixed my.. Misword? In the spoiler. See Striked Text.) 01-15-2015, 12:48 PM
It looks like you have the correct folders, the Monado III won't really matter because you can only use it in a second playthrough.
The only thing I can think of is that the filenames are wrong, or the wrong files are in the folders. However, you said that the Monado "flashed white" at the end of the beginning scene. I have no idea why it would change. It could be a bug or I could just be missing something. Which version of Dolphin are you using, and is it possible to load any screen shots of what you're seeing? If you're past the intro, you should be coming to a point in the story where you see the Monado on a pedestal and it should be retextured there. If it isn't something is installed wrong or something is bugged. Yea, That First time I saw it on the pedestal, Where the Old man is holding the Papers about Shulk's research. Thats the cutscene it flashed white -at the end- of the cutscene. Spoiler: Monado FX : http://gyazo.com/57cd2cda2ca8b536edf16b03901a64ab (In the cutscene folder: http://gyazo.com/b2986af16b4d8950d155ef65dab3d725 ) Monado I : http://gyazo.com/27a3edd903a731d40b33fcfd26978627 Monado II : http://gyazo.com/6d186b47440f3ab7a1ca3aa7733c32a7 Monado III : http://gyazo.com/d5f8df7461136e37e5f7a8ce564540b5 I also Simply Used Gyazo to take what was on the top of my game window to show what version I am using : http://gyazo.com/bca3bceac5df2d9720ee1b0e62ccb4ba At first I had completely jumbled up text xD; But thats because I had an outdated Dolphin Version (I was Simply 4.0.) After I got that version. It all worked just fine. EDIT: By Flash. I mean It switched to the color I had it changed to. And didn't switch back to red. It wasn't.. Flashing intermittently between the two. 01-15-2015, 12:59 PM
Hello guys,
First of all I wanted to thank you for the hard work you've put in this project, I want to play Xenoblade in the best way possible... So using your texture pack is a must. I've been using your textures and they look awesome!! Still, I'm having some problems... the game kind of freezes from time to time for a short period, the audio gets all slowed down and obviously I can't move Shulk around or anything. This mostly happens when bringing up any menu or navigating through them, and when moving Shulk around. It's not game breaking, but it's pretty annoying. Could you guys help me with the configuration for Dolphin, I'm obviously a noob when doing that (I've followed the youtube video on the OP) (I'm currently using OpenGL backend: Dolphin gets an error when trying to use Direct 3D because of my graphics card, still I've configured the Nvidia manager to make dolphin use it) My current settings are in the attached images. Hope you guys can help me.
