When you say "the pad doesn't show up" you mean it doesn't even appear in "Device"?

First of all, which particular controller are you trying to set up? The GameCube controller, Wii Remote, nunchuck, and classic controller need separate configurations. The GC is under GCPad while all the Wii stuff is under Wiimote.
Second, make sure you choose Xinput in the device selection. It should say something like "DInput/0/Keyboard Mouse" by default, so click the down arrow and select "Xinput/0/Gamepad." 04-30-2013, 10:19 AM
Have you set the device this way:
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1 CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked) GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1) RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333 (04-30-2013, 09:23 AM)SirDrexl Wrote: First of all, which particular controller are you trying to set up?
