Windwaker troubles

OK, so i got a basic legend of zelda: windwaker rom through the first site that came up on a google search, and it launches with dolphin. However, it does not detect the wii remote i have set up to it, or will it recognize my custom controls, (i perfer to use wasd over the annoying defults of the arrow keys and zx as the b and a buttons.

If this somehow shows what my problem is please tell me, any help would be greatly appreciated as my wii broke down and this is my only way to play my favorite game \

Edit: The annoying arrow key format also makes it completley impossible to play, movement is clunky and hardly controlable and i often find myself pushing z instead of x because they are literally right next to eachother. This is so frustrating.
