After that, re-enable your Wiimote and load your save file. If that doesn't work, its possible you may have changed some settings recently, and that's what caused this issue. Try changing them back, then make your hard save. I don't know why you would use savestates with this game, since you can save anywhere, and it literally takes less than 10 seconds. Heck, its the only reason I've bothered to keep playing, since it crashes on me every 1-2 hours. I save every 5-10 minutes, so I don't get set back too far when the inevitable crash comes. 10-10-2011, 08:39 PM
Hi guys,
I went through quite a few posts on this thread and have determined the best settings to run this game smoothly. One thing I'm still confused about, however, is what build to use specifically. There are so many of them and everybody seems to be using a different one. In the sake of saving some time, I thought I'd just post here. So, this question is for those who have already ended/extensively played the game on a pc similar to mine*. What build did you use? ---* Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Intel i5 2500k Asus P8P67 Pro Corsair DDR3 4GB Ram AMD HD6950 2GB --- Also, I'm aware that there is a patch to bump the game's default from 25fps to 30fps. What I'm confused about is what that patch does. I read somewhere that it simply changes the game's PAL region to NTSC, therefore increasing the fps. If this is true, are there going to be any side effects? But again, I also read that the patch actually increases the game speed to 120% (which also increases the ingame's clock peed). I don't want to play the game 'faster' then it originally is, but would of course love the fps boost without side effects if possible. So could someone please clarify this for me. Thanks in advance! 10-10-2011, 10:12 PM
The original game is ntsc, thus pal version actually play slower (but all ingame clock and battle QTE are modified to match pal fps). I'm not sure how it is with 60 FPS patch though, the game clock should adhere to ntsc version if it's true ntsc patch...
