Update: I managed to get the game to work with a PS4 controller using the Xbox 360 video
Works pretty well and I find it hilarious. The game runs pretty slowly but the lag somehow helps due to the input. GG 10-01-2016, 06:04 AM
I finally beat this game, I recieved my Dolphinbar and the controls and a lot more responsive now.
This game REQUIRE the Dolphinbar to actually be enjoyable 10-01-2016, 06:21 AM
No it doesn't, the DolphinBar is just one way to get decent Wiimote connectivity

I can tell you it does.
Try controlling the Beetle gadget witout sensor bar and it's nearly impossible...... I moved my remote right and the thing goes left and such. it was a pain in the ass. with the dolphinbar everything is super responsive and does what it's supposed to do. 10-03-2016, 11:10 PM
That doesn't mean you absolutely need a DolphinBar, just a sensor bar (which goes without saying).
I know..... it doesn't really require it to play but I'd say it require it to be enjoyable.
You only need a sensor bar to actually boot to the main menu... after that you can shut down your sensor bar and the game will work without it. Maybe it's just the Bluetooth that's better inside the dolphinbar compared to my Kinivo blue tooth 4.0 adapter that I have. Before I bought that new bar.... the game was somewhat frustrating because of the unresponsive controls. 10-05-2016, 03:09 AM
No, you really do need a sensor bar, even if it's technically not required. The game uses the sensor bar to calibrate the Motion Plus, and without it, it desyncs very quickly.
The DolphinBar is both a decent sensor bar (though be careful of not leaving the LEDs on for too long) and a Bluetooth adapter, so it'll work better than just using a Bluetooth adapter and no sensor bar when actually playing. 12-19-2016, 04:02 PM
Hello,
So I was trying to play SS lately and by now I'm getting pretty steady 30fps with the latest Ishiiruka (v8xx), not perfect but playable! I'm using Dx12 btw, will update my post with other settings later! However, I'm facing the exact same banding issue which is mentioned on the wiki page, the problem is I can't fix it by enabling "force texture filtering" :/ Anyways I'd like to know if someone here has some fool proof settings for me to fix the fps entirely and getting rid of the banding effect? I was just playing twilight princess before and really feel like I downgraded by quality, besides I was only using the A Vanilla shader. For SS it unfortunately looks way too blurry and to bright so do anyone have a better suggestions for a good shader? Thanks in advance! |
