Hi, this is my comp
Main : MSI H97 Gaming 3 CPU : Intel Xeon E3-1231v3 VGA: Asus R9 290 Directcu II Ram: Gskill 8GB Windows 7 64bit It can run The last story fine at 30fps. However during FMV it slows down to 24-25 fps, even if I reduce the graphic setting to minimal. Very annoying because the sound during the FMV would be chopped. Anyone knows how to fix this ? Thank you ! 02-17-2015, 08:54 AM
reduce the clock speed sligtly. until you can maintain a stable fps

D3d mode with 'Fast Depth Calculation' enabled seems to cause clipping issues in parts of the menus. At least on rev5738.

Also any recommended specific dolphin builds which decrease trouble with this game. I found in battle, it became pretty laggy on the first boss fight involving the bridge.

If you have a lag even on your first boss fight you will get a slideshow in the city. Use the latest dev version of dolphin, d3d and low ir for best speed in this game. 03-17-2015, 05:21 PM

Let me answer that question with a quote from our good lord and savior, NaturalViolence: (12-04-2013, 11:54 AM)NaturalViolence Wrote: That's because your hardware is far too slow. If you want optimal settings you'll need to look at the wiki pages for these games. There are no magic settings in dolphin that are "appropriate" for any given hardware configuration or that will magically fix everything. (This advice also applies to "specific dolphin builds which decrease trouble with this game". Latest dev build is almost invariably the best thing you can be running, and if it doesn't work, you have only your hardware or settings to blame.)

Grrr, seriously? One the hand, if aaronao really has an amd cpu, then yeah, good luck with trying to play the last story.
On the other hand, the game runs almost at 2x as fast as with default settings, if you use the efb2tex/efb2ram swap trick. |
