In Zael's status and inventory menu, some of the text are missing or distorted. I tried setting the texture cache accuracy to safe and it doesn't seem to fix it. Can someone help me with this?

With DX9, Copy to RAM fastest, VBEAM hack and DSP LLE on a thread I'm getting ~25-27 FPS on the bridge/square in the city, without any tricks with OAL and it is just on 4.0GHz (i7 3770K). Yours 4,5Ghz should be more than enough. drhycodan Yeah, weird issue, can't figure out what is causing it yet. Will try to do more testing later. 06-02-2013, 03:01 AM

Your never going to achieve full speed without OC'ing which you can't do (very well) on that CPU.

I know i can't play full speed on my rig. So,what is the suitable revisions for me to get the most performance out my rig?

Well first off I'm going to assume your using the version from the wrong site...get it from here:

Anyone got a suggestion for what settings I should use? if a different revision would work better too, please mention it. ^.^ I've tried everything and I keep getting terrible audio and frame drops...I'm used to being able to mouse over options to see what they do so... honestly I'm used to ps2 emus and such so Dolphin is kinda chaotic to me with all the option choices

Not really much more you can do. TLS is one of the most demanding games. Overclocking your CPU might help a bit. You can try Dolphin 3.5 (stable version) for this game. It should be slightly better

I never got TLS playable on my old Core 2 Duo E8500, even at 4.1Ghz, and I do believe that the Phenom II x4 955 is quite a bit slower pr clock. THis game was at least for so much more demanding than Xenoblade, and I do believe that you will need a Sandy Bridge k-cpu (or better) to run this at anything remotely close to 100%

I don't really care for 100% just slightly less stuttering if at all possible using settings? also when I jumped to my current version it eliminated several issues that 3.5 had itself with the game so I'd have to say that using a revision was a better option for me, the question lies in what settings do i need, or is there a certain revision that would be better than my current...Also I don't know how to, nor have any way to overclock my system, it is all running on fans and sadly I would upgrade my system if I had the income to even do that much
Edit: Mostly I'd like to at least increase the FPS and maybe lower the stuttering of the audio, atm it's running about 12FPS, before I reached a certain point(the base after that boat ride I forget the name of the race and all that, it's after "Lisa" was taken on the boat from her city) it was a constant 30 on auto(highest it ever went on auto, but when I changed it to anything else it was able to run better but the audio got a lot worse and when i shut off the limiter all together it seemed to "calm down" but the fps stayed low and the audio was as bad as a preset with a constant hum sound in the back while the music played out of combat(never tried in combat since i was fiddling with it after a save...) no matter what I did it always dropped drastically to about 12FPS so I'm not sure what to do honestly, tried going over to the direct3d11(is that right? something 11 instead of 9 in graphics) but it made audio bad as well...Honestly I can't tell if the emulation itself has a glitch in the code for some of those things since I know my system isn't this weak...But I wont question that any further since I know that emulation itself is a tricky thing and the makers aren't making any profit off of the project, nor am I contributing to it, so it's not my place...I dunno |
