Then my hunch was right, you're just lazy. Prove me wrong by actually converting it and try things out.
You know if you're worried that you'll break something, make a backup of the original .wbfs image and store it at a safe place or something.

Well whatever, you have at least confirmed that you get the same issues so I guess that counts for something.

You can use git to check the history of the files Core/VideoCommon/Src/CommandProcessor.cpp and Core/VideoCommon/Src/Fifo.cpp. Google it, it's really easy to do. TGit or whatever you guys are using probably even has a context menu item for that.

Yeah uh guys, this is not the place for personal bitchfighting. Move it to PM if you want to continue. While I think ExtremeDude2's "excuse" is pretty lame, he's free to do whatever he wants to do or to not do.

Sigh... for the love of god I'm not interested in bitchfighting or anything else for that matter, ONLY finding the source of this problem so I can move on.

I have gone through 3.0-77 - 3.0-878 and the only builds/commits I found related to FIFO was these:

3.0-789 - 1 month, 3 weeks ago - FifoPlayer: Copy selected object commands to clipboard when pressing ctrl+c

3.0-754 - 3 months, 3 weeks ago - FifoPlayer: Fix fifo log playback in dual-core mode.

I searched through the Dolphin archive reading the various descriptions of the builds/commits. Sure I could have missed something, but who really knows.

I'm gonna test Dolphin 3.0-753 this weekend which is the build before 3.0-754 that had Fifo related changes.
The builds I have found have surely probably nothing to do with this and I have failed you all.....but then again would that be something new?

Have you used the git log like I suggested before? Both of these commits you posted are unrelated.

EDIT:
There, I just ran git-log myself and uploaded the output to a pastebin site: http://pastie.org/5530875 , you'll likely want to download this and view it in a text editor without automatic line breaking (it's one git hash per line)

That's including both the revision hash and the commit message (after 5 secs of googling I couldn't find out how to print just the git hash). Use http://changes.dolphin-emu.org/ to find out how those map to the 3.0-XXX versioning scheme.

TADA!

3.0-601 and below works and 3.0-629 and up don't.
I have no more builds that I can test because there isn't any made between 3.0-601 and 3.0-629 that's downloadable in the Dolphin Build Archive
I think somewhere between these things went to hell but when I looked in the list of changes between 601 & 629 in the http://changes.dolphin-emu.org/ I saw nothing that indicated FIFO related stuff.
Don't know what else I could do from here because I'm not a dev.

I completed the level Sunken Treasure on Beach Bowl Galaxy just fine on 601 and below, but 629 gave the same GFX FIFO errors that I have had in the latest builds.

So good luck!

Could you specify git hashes for identifying revisions instead, please? They're listed in dolphin's about dialog. Making other people look them up is just an additional error source when you can tell for sure which commit is actually affected.

Thanks for your hard testing though, if I'm looking at the correct revision range right now I'll get in touch with skid.

Sure no problem at all, I'll just go look those hashes up in a jiffy.

EDIT:

3.0-629 = 77f47866dfb4fbf330292957031b1914b2ac3a3e

3.0-601 = 330f63df80f94488655d21b535cf75a2ce0e9fa2

EDIT 2:

I tested this whole thing again and it's giving me GFX FIFO errors/warnings on 629 but not on 601 so it's definitely something going on here.

delroth is currently making his bot build all of the revisions inbetween at http://dl.dolphin-emu.org/builds/ (neobrain-fifo-test). Could you check those as well? Not sure if all of them work properly at all, just skip one if it doesn't work.

Will do!

EDIT: Downloading now...

EDIT 2: 3.0-624 gave me GFX FIFO errors/warnings, so I didn't try 628-625
Waiting for the other builds to show up.
