Yeah, unfortunately delroth's bot has a small bug that prevents you from building lots of consecutive revisions at once :/
You might as well do something else in the next 2 hours (I guess that's what you're doing anyway Tongue), I expect the culprit to be some of the very first commits in the range (... could be wrong of course, just a guess).

DING DING DING DING! We have a winner.

3.0-623 (d7f468a78189bd158abe0726acb246a5da7d4256) works and 3.0-624 (e5d527340d1841a96aa032e3416847a054a47390) ain't.

I have successfully completed the Sunken Treasure level on Beach Bowl Galaxy on 3.0-623 and on 3.0-624 I get numerous GFX FIFO errors/warnings which makes it impossible to complete the level because it continues and continues.

3.0-624 is most probably the culprit.

Delroth's build bot stopped at 624 so I had to find 623 and the rest on EmuCr because I was getting restless. Hopefully this doesn't change anything since the hash matched exactly so this should be accurate.
And if this information is correct you have my permission to clean up this thread afterwards.
I don't think there is anything more for me to do now other then wait and see what you guys says about this.

delroth's build now has finished building the remaining revs. Could you do one last test on delroth's 623, just to make sure?

They say a picture says more then thousand words, well I have two that says over two thousand words!

Dolphin 3.0-623; Result for Sunken Treasure - Beach Bowl Galaxy = working and completable

Dolphin 3.0-624; Result for Sunken Treasure - Beach Bowl Galaxy = not working and not completable

This is my data and findings for this. I hope it sums things up pretty good.

EDIT:

Something else struck me just now. I was able to collect a few of the golden sparklies in the level Sunken Treasure on 3.0-624 before it gave me GFX FIFO errors/warnings but on newer revisions it kicks in almost immediately the moment you start swimming around in the water.
It seems like this problem have escalated somehow from 3.0-624 and up till today.

But the most important thing here is that I haven't been able to reproduce these errors/warnings on 3.0-623 and downwards and that's hopefully a good thing.

Alright, thanks for testing once again :>

I told skid about the issue and he said he'd look into it, BUT unfortunately there's a great time it's just a timing issue... i.e. an existing issue that just got more apparent because skid's patch changed timing slightly.

There's one last thing you could test, however: Could you check what happens in 623 and 624 with JitIL selected at the same scene?

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By changing to JitIL it works great on 3.0-624, heck even the latest 3.0-8xx versions too. No GFX FIFO errors/warnings at all. OMG is this good or bad? Have we solved the case?

OK, hopefully it's good.

Well I think I have done everything that I can do from my side. I'll just sit tight and follow the development of this.

Duke, I made a fix here: http://dl.dolphin-emu.org/builds/dolphin-JIT-EE-3.5-105-x64.7z

Would you please test out SMG and a few other games and make sure they work ok?

Thanks Skid, that fix solved the problem. No more GFX FIFO errors/warnings anymore on Jit. I completed all the levels that required you to swim in Beach Bowl Galaxy perfectly fine.

It's just too bad this didn't make it to the official 3.5 release, but I guess I have to wait for 4.0 to enjoy this.

In the mean time 3.5 is absolutely great with JitIL on Beach Bowl Galaxy, I completed every level there too just fine. It's just a click or two when switching between Jit and JitIL so it's no big deal for me.

It also looks like the GFX FIFO errors/warnings for Guitar Hero Metallica I had a while ago is also fixed by this, altough they were completely random and not as easy to reproduce as this one with Super Mario Galaxy.

Thanks again!
