By the way, is there a simple explanation as to why sound is so difficult to emulate? To the layman, it seems like it should be the easiest element, but alas.

I know nothing about coding, and this might not exactly answer your question... but I believe many of the difficulties with sound are due to the simple lack of available documentation for the Nintendo DSP chip.

so there is no way to finish the manta ray races and ball balancing levels without a actual wii controller and bluetooth enabled pc, correct?

It's not as easy as intercepting all PlaySound() calls and rerouting them to "our" sound APIs (06-02-2010, 09:02 PM)_MJ_ Wrote: so there is no way to finish the manta ray races and ball balancing levels without a actual wii controller and bluetooth enabled pc, correct? There were some predefined movements SOMEWHERE in this thread. Sorry, no idea were exactly, but just search for all of my posts (it's not that many), in one of them I posted the link to the corresponding file For the ball balancing levels I'd advice you to use some fly cheat, they're just a pain to finish without a real wiimote. 06-03-2010, 09:36 AM

Actually you can pass those levels without using real wiimote just by using the original wiimote plug in,are you using gamepad or keyboard and mouse? In manta ray races the default keys on keyboard for roll left and right are n and m,regarding ball balancing levels when you're already at that level pause the game then click the wiimote setting and check the upright wiimote then press the play button the deafault keys on keyboard would beroll left is n roll right is m pitch up is , and pitch down is .)although when your in upright wiimote the cursor will disappear.
thanks guys.
