Actually i think DX11 is faster for SMG right now, atleast for me, with the newest revision (Dolphin-x64-r6722) it is atleast a 15-20% speed increase.
edit: with fog disabled ofcourse.

Really? I think i have everything configured pretty well. Maybe your GFX Card isn't Direct3D11 compatible? If there's any configuration i should know about that makes 9 better i'd sure love to know

The DX11 plugin is faster for me in Galaxy too (although in most other games it is slower)
Using Lectrode's SVN6706 SSE4.1 builds I get 40fps in the first screen of the observatory using the DX9 plugin compared to 47fps with the DX11 plugin with the same settings. Tested on a C2Q @ 3.36GHz & GTX 570
Altso, it looks so nice, and the music is so sweet If it wasn't for the LLE plugin being a little bit too slow it would be playable as hell
Btw, i suggest trying the latest revision of Dolphin and the DX11 + DSP-LLE Plugin because it got a great performance boost like a day or two ago Ofcourse the game is playable with DSP-HLE and you get full fps, but you will lose the Music after a little while.

Additionally uncheck the new options "Pixel lighting", "Pixel depth", and "Emulate format changes". 01-03-2011, 02:26 AM

connect a nunchuk
If you don't have one, go to the wiimote settings, configure, and choose the nunchuk as extension.
