Unchecking "Skip EFB access" in the hacks tab of the graphics config should help with that (in at least one of the video backends), although it'll kill performance to a ridiculous level.

I'm also having the same problem as the others on the latest 4.0 build. I can get to a variety of places on the menu but it crashes after a few clicks with that annoying beeping sound. I'm running NVIDIA GeForce GT 640, intel Quad core Q8300, 8GB RAM and Windows 7 x64.

On Dolphin 4.0 my game also suddenly freezes (sometimes with black screen, sometimes just 0 frames with the correct image) after clicking Play Game after the initial cutscene, sometimes has a beep sound. However I tried the game on 3.5 stable version and it seems to work fine.
All of this was done with default settings. Hopefully if someone gets it working for Dolphin 4.0 it'd be great cause I would really like to try out the official Wi-Fi connection feature with some pals Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Processor/CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE 3.2GHz Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GTX 660 Memory/RAM: 8GB RAM 10-02-2013, 01:48 AM
After a couple of hours I finally managed to get the game to work on 4.0
My only problem at the moment is that the IR controls (binded to mouse as default) are not registering on the the game, only mouse buttons do (A and B). The IR registers on the configuration screen, Wii home screen (while MH3 is running) and on Endless Ocean so I guess they are configured properly. I've already posted on the the controller section but I was hoping someone here could share some light on this. P.S: Maybe I should try using another version of Dolphin? EDIT: I finally managed to get the IR to work ingame with the help of the posts by MCMXCIX and LordVador on the secod page. At the moment the only thing that is bugging me is the bloom. I know that there are ways to remove it but I just can't seem to understand what I have to do in order to remove it. Can someone shed some light on this? 10-02-2013, 10:43 PM
With the new 4.0 dolphin, would new online >>posibilities<< present themselves? or would this still be impossible due the lack of servers?

Hi, I'm new to the Dolphin forums and the emulator itself (But not emulation in general) so I'm looking for some help.
I'm using the latest 4.0 64bit version of Dolphin and while the game runs nicely for the most part there are a few things I was wondering if there were fixes for. 1. The slight FPS drops when entering certain areas. I recently got far enough in that the "trader" from abroad visited the village and now ever since he's been there my FPS drops a few points near the center of the village. This also happened when there were a lot of people huddled in the center around the chief earlier in the game. A handful of areas on different maps do this is as well, usually when more monsters are present. It seems like I've tinkered with every setting possible and no matter how much I drop or raise graphics quality I always get this selective drop as the best. It seems this drop keeps getting worse the more I play the game in general, and by that I mean a couple days ago when i started, this drop wasn't nearly as prominent. 2. SUPER bloom. It didn't bother me till I had a quest in the Sandy Plains area at night and the areas with the groups of Delex was just straight up WHITE. Like I could hardly see the floor's textures at all. There's just too much which I'm sure isn't intended. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 10-08-2013, 09:26 AM

Be warned though it will be darker than intended, not a really good fix. [OnFrame_Enabled] $Bloom OFF 10-08-2013, 10:26 AM

Added the line to the bottom of the ini file and it didn't do anything.Don't do that. Revert what you've done. Open up Dolphin, right-click the game, go to properties and click edit config in the bottom left corner of the window and paste those lines at the top of the file there. |
