I've got a problem that I expect has a simple solution, but I'm not finding it; I installed the latest version of Dolphin, found that it wouldn't load my savestates from two weeks ago, reinstalled the old version (7127, I think) so I could use a save station, but now in-game saves don't work any more. I get the "CWII-IPC_HLE_Device_fs: couldn't create new file" message, which had been solved when I last played. I'm using Dolphin as the admin, I've set the folders to read/write, I've asked Windows (for the record, it's 8.1) to give admin access to all users, but still: I can't use the save stations - which means I can't change to the latest version of Dolphin either. Any help would be much appreciated!

im having trouble getting this and Metroid prime 3 game to load, they are stuck at the same old loading screen and it feels as if they are in a loop, suggestions?

What do you mean by "the same old loading screen"? Can you post a screenshot?

Sounds like an issue with dol files. Make sure you're using a recent developtment build of Dolphin.
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

latest and I even tried the rc versions(which crash on the spot for both Metroid games)
but it is stuck at the loading screen such as "loading Metroid prime trilogy......" showing the dots after in an endless loop. sometimes Metroid prime 3 finishes loading, only to go to a black screen. I don't have trouble with other wii games, but these 2 are troublesome 09-06-2015, 05:54 AM
yes they do, as long as im able to get to the game selection menu. ive gotten an hour into the 1st one and I did some tests and 2 works

Did you maybe forget to dump the 2nd layer? Cleanrip doesn't detect if a disc is a dual layer disc, so you have to know this. Metroid Prime Trilogy is a dual layer game.
no I just got it off of removed like I usually get my games and then I just play them, but the fact that I have trouble with this, and the the original mp3 iso shows something wrong
