Removed after the next stable release? I thought the plan was to do it asap.

VGA? Why the hell would a tablet use a decades old analog video format? *shrug*
EDIT: Oooooooh, now I get it. 2011, 10W. Cederview Atom CPUs aren't for tablets. They appear to be more for netbooks and small form-factor desktops. The stuff wikipedia links to are miniITX motherboards for tiny computer builds. And look what's on the miniITX board: AMD Threadripper Pro 5975WX PBO+200 | Asrock WRX80 Creator | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 FE | 64GB DDR4-3600 Octo-Channel | Windows 11 23H1 | (details)

Nevermind the VGA ports. Why are there COM and LPT ports on that board? What possible use could a user have for those?

If DX9 is dropped, Win32 is dropped, why keeping the DSound audio backend while XAudio2 is here ?

Because nobody has dropped it? I haven't looked into one of them at all, but I know some of our audio backends are in a very bad state. Is the XAudio2 backend fine?

xaudio2 backend is superior to dsound in every way I can find, and openal covers the edge cases.
