I would recommend buying a Ryzen 5 3600 with 16gb and mobo + 500 watt psu. This will set you back about 420 ish.

Thanks for both your replies. I think I'm going to go the troubleshooting route for now and figure out exactly what's wrong if it's not just the psu and worst case buy a 1660 super or ryzen 5 and motherboard depending on what's broken. I did think about the prebuilt one too but building a ryzen seems to be the better value. Thanks a lot guys.
The Steam Controller is being discontinued! Steam is selling their remaining stock for next to nothing, only $5 for the amazing controller, and I highly recommend it. It is fantastic for playing PC games on a TV and it was well worth $50 for me, $5 is a steal! And there really is nothing like it, so if you have had any interest in it at all, you should get one before they are gone!

Sadly Valve never sold it on my country so the only way to get them here is through a local equivalent of eBay where people charge 4 times more the retail price (T_T)

They're out of stock. I was about to buy like another four.

I'm actually pretty upset that it's discontinued now. It was genuinely my favourite controller ever, and that was before they added Bluetooth and Android support that it didn't have on release.

Huh, it's still available for me. I guess available stock depends on region?

Probably.
Someone's told me that they're actually just discontinuing the Steam Controller 1 as they're about to launch the Steam Controller 2 that's basically the same thing but with pressure-sensitive paddles and VR tracking.

Welp, saw your post too late as well. Looks like it's all sold out in Europe (in France and Germany at least)...
MSI Desktop: Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz/4.7 GHz, 32 Go DDR4, NVidia GeForce RTX 2080, 512 Go SSD + 2 To HDD, Windows 10 Professional x64 Insider Preview (Slow Ring)... and of course latest Dolphin x64 development build!
Unfortunately all the Steam Controller V2 rumors are based on is a single patent from a year ago. It's a stretch. :/ Game companies patent every idea since they might use it (remember this thing?), and Valve hasn't said anything about a V2 Steam Controller. Well, I hope they do make a V2 though! So, we'll see. But just in case, I'll just hang onto my personal supply of steam controllers. :3
