So i had to eat 50% more than a fat person to have the same result, it seems i was burning everything. She gave me a diet that had a very strong breakfast and other stuff like a lot of nuts and meat, and it seemed to work gaining a couple of kilos in two weeks, but after a while i couldn't handle it and gave up. For example i had to eat a bowl of cereals, a toast and biscuits or a sweet for breakfast which was a bit too much for me. It had result but my stomach felt too full and swollen all the time, so i gave up.
I recall reading something a long time ago about Italians and Greeks having higher average basal metabolic rates due to genetics. That could be related. And thank god for that because I've seen the things you people eat! Your food is insanely delicious and fatty, a deadly combination . Also regular exercise will actually raise your basal metabolic rate. Lots of other environmental factors impact it as well so I guess we'll never know for sure. I wish I could give you all some of my body fat.
Well the everyday food we make at home is not that fat, it involves eating fish once a week and legumes among other stuff. But yeah, there is a lot of tasty food, eating good is a bit of a science here but junk food usage has increased compared to the past. See http://www.oecd.org/els/health-systems/O...e-2014.pdf , perhaps i am among the lucky ones really.
